Spooky Outhouse Productions is a podcasting network and game design company based in St. Louis, Missouri.
My design goal was to create something simple and iconic that still managed to be a literal interpretation of the name. Since Spooky Outhouse is primarily a podcasting network, I felt that the woodcut imprint feel was appropriate; it feels a bit like a stamp to be applied to network members' content rather than being content itself.

Logo design - Spooky Outhouse Productions is a podcasting network and game design company based in St. Louis, Missouri.A core design goal for this project was to design a mark that was simple and iconic, but still managed to be a literal interpretation of the name.Since Spooky Outhouse is primarily a podcasting network, I felt that the rough woodcut style was appropriate; not only does it lend a bit of creepiness to the design, but causes the whole logo to feel like a stamp to be applied to network members' content rather than being content itself. The creepiness contrasts with the ridiculousness of the name, emphasizing the tongue-in-cheek humor that common to the podcasts in the network.
